Chris Nolan gave a talk and slide presentation
about her new book, Around Perry,
on Monday, June 14, 2010, 7:00 PM,
at Perry Public Library.
The book was recently published
by Arcadia Publishing as part of its
Images of America series.

Nolan, retired children's services director at Perry Public Library,
used her 20 years of experience working with the library's local history materials
as background for choosing the photos for the book and writing the captions.
Photos and information were gathered from both the
Clark Rice and the Henry Page Collections at the library.
The program was held in the library's downstairs children's room and included
sales of the book and a book signing.
